As part of the "Social Impact Republic" initiative, leading startup centers from across Germany have joined forces to build a bridge between the high-tech startup scene and the social entrepreneurship sector:
Together, this network builds bridges between the high-tech startup ecosystem and social entrepreneurship and sets out with a bold, forward-looking goal: to make Germany a global leader in social innovation and purpose-driven entrepreneurship.
The idea is simple but powerful - when influential institutions, incubators, and thought leaders come together to focus on the same goal, change happens faster and at scale. The Social Impact Republic brings this collaborative power to life, aiming to shift how we think about entrepreneurship: not just in terms of growth and profit, but in terms of long-term social value, sustainability, and innovation for the common good.
A Nationwide Program for Purpose-Driven Startups
At the heart of the Social Impact Republic is a nationwide impact accelerator program, designed for startups that use technology and innovation to address social and environmental challenges.
The program runs in multiple batches each year and supports early- and growth-stage startups as they turn strong ideas into scalable, impact-oriented businesses.

As part of the Social Impact Republic, Public Value Hub leads the DemocracyTech Accelerator, a program dedicated to startups developing digital solutions that strengthen democratic processes, civic engagement, transparency, and participation.
The DemocracyTech Accelerator supports founders working at the intersection of technology and democracy, helping them translate innovative ideas into scalable solutions that contribute to resilient democratic systems.
